There is an interesting fact that people with wavy hair want to straighten their hair, while people with straight hair want to curl their hair. Some people may use hot tools such as curling iron or flat iron to change the texture of their hair. However, high heat will cause some damage to the hair and sometimes the damage is permanent. So today I would like to share with you about how to straighten your hair without heat.
The first method is to use a straightening wash and dry regimen. You can shop at beauty supply stores for some straightening shampoo and conditioner. Don’t choose hair products containing alcohol. Straightening serum or leave-in conditioner is recommended. Then shampoo and condition your hair with straightening products. Leave the conditioner in your hair for 15 to 45 minutes. After that, wash your hair and towel dry. Apply some heat protecting serum to your hair can add shine to your hair. Then blow dry your hair from root to tip with an iron-generating blow dryer. Finally finish with a styling product such as mousse.
The second method is to shampoo and condition your hair at first. Then towel dry your hair until it is damp. Pull back most of your hair with a clip and leave one section free. Stand in front if a fan and turn it on. Brush your hair with a paddle brush. Place the brush at the roots of the section of hair and pull it through to the tip, holding it straight for a few moments before allowing the hair to drop. When the first section of your hair is dried, start on a new section. Finally finish with a styling product.
The third method is to stir 1 egg into 2 cups (5 liters) of milk and then dip as much of your hair as you can. Keep your hair in the milk for 10 minutes and then wear plastic wrap for 30 minutes. Then blow dry your hair. Comb and divide your hair into two sections. Grab the left section and wrap it over your head, across the right section. Coil it around your head and secure it in several places with hairpins. Grab the right section and wrap it over your head in the other direction, securing it in several places with pins. When your hair is completely dry, remove the pins and brush your hair straight.
